Salaam Aleikum and welcome to all viewers!

Alhamdullileh! FINALLY it is done. We thank the webdesigners for their hard work, as this site was a very diffcult project.

This site contains many features and new ones will be added over time, including video's and more.

The new QXP4 is available for PDF and Word download in the library. It is also available in the Online QXP function where it can be viewed together with the Arabic text and the rootsearch function. When the arrow is placed on top of an Arabic word, the translation, root word and all related words and their verses are presented in a window.

In this way people can crossreference and study the Quranic Message themselves and also partially see how we came to our conclusions in QXP. We use OpenBurhan and thank him for creating the program. Many definitions and meanings of roots are not given as it is still a work in progress, so do not be confused or worried when a meaning is not found.

You can always ask on this forum for any clarification.

We also have made a Recommended Reading section which contains many important writings for further understanding of Islam and the world. You will find books and articles on many subjects, including; Islam, Quran, History, Science, Politics, Philosophy and more.

Dr.Shabbir is very busy with several books and projects and so will be present on the forum from time to time. You can always mail him personally or comment on his Blog.

The OurBeacon Group will be present soon in full force after more time is available to them. As all know, we all have a fulltime job and family life next to OurBeacon.

The new QXP4 is in print, and expected in December by the Publisher inshAllah.

With a lot of appreciation for new interface, may i suggest to add following, if possible.

Since there are various categories, and new posts are spread in them, hence to read them all, one has to open n close pages many times back and forth.

How about if all new post may be opened under one clik on " New Posts". either date wise or on Computer Rom. Can this feature be added.

An observation: Server response time is slow. Av 2-4 sec on page opening. its comparatively a bit slower than normal in USA even on ultra fast internet.

Could you please create another one with just the heading "Critique methodology Abdun Nur/Badar Kanwar". This is in order to keep two separate. We would continue to add translations to first one. However, if people want to discuss the translation methodolgy, they would not clutter the area dedicated to translation.

Linguistic understanding of Al-Qurโ€™an

The true purpose of the broad message in Al Qurโ€™an, being the same message expressed within the original accounts of preceding scriptures, was to liberate humans from all oppressions, including mental oppression.

Our Creator communicates with us, and want us to be able to transform ourselves and those around us from state to state, through the following of those direct communication, presenting Allahโ€™s guiding principles, comprehensively detailed within the Qurโ€˜an.

However, throughout human history; people have ignored truth, suffering, exploitation, and actively want to create barriers between all human beings, for their own selfish advantage, so to this end, confusing the truths of the Creator, for the sake of their own power and status, to dominate those around them.

In early human history, the only form of communication, and so transfer of information, was through oral traditions. Speech can be understood as sound symbols representing the transfer of knowledge. However, the sound of spoken word dies as soon as they have been uttered. Hence, verbal communication is subject to alteration and can never be reliable.

Later on humans learned to preserve sound symbols on paper in the form script, so it became less likely that the scripted messages would alter. However, revision, corruptions and additions transformed scriptures over time, as the powerful use their influence and positions of trust.

This direct revision could not be employed against the Qurโ€™an, so a new route had to be established.

It is a natural phenomenon that all spoken language changes over time, so the people who want to continue their oppressive control can capitalize on this phenomenon. This may occur, deliberately or subtly, without most people realizing it.

This slow transformation happened to the original Qurโ€™anic Arabic language, the original spoken Quran, from the tongue of the Rasul into the established script technique of that time.

Natural changes in language, both intentional and unintentional, and rapid expansion of the message beyond the boundaries of Mekkah and Medina, in whose language the verbal messageโ€™s source scripture was preserved, made it difficult to conserve the exact meanings depicted in the script, and gradually the message was degraded, until finally lost again.

Luckily, the original script is preserved, and the rules and meanings of the script and writing techniques were well preserved by great Arabic scholars, and later translated by great linguists from Arabic to other languages. These Arabic books and translations have been greatly ignored, or more significantly, have been out of the reach of most common people.

Recent, with the explosion of communication tools in the form of electronic media and internet has put these books again in the hands of common people. These common people can potentially get back to the real message, by utilising these tools.

The original Qurโ€™anic Arabic can be studied as a scientific discipline, when the correct rules are applied to Quranic text, these principles bring forth an understanding, completely different from the conventional one. Like any other old script, one has to go back in time to understand the writing technique used at the time, so uncover the real message preserved by original scribes.

Following are only some of the reasons to look at the script in a scientific manner.

It is hard to believe that meanings rendered are completely error free, otherwise we would have had no discrepancy.

The language is corrupted/changed naturally or deliberately through rational phenomenon of language evolution, and so requires a comprehensive re-evaluation to uncover real meanings of the message. Self evidently, a collective effort would be better and more fruitful than an individual effort.

It is always helpful to keep an mind open to dissenters, this helps to avoid exchanging one corruption for just anotherโ€™s preconceived notions.

By diversifying the group one can use group wisdom, a very powerful tool.

Using an open internet model helps to keep individual anonymity, if they desire, but still contribute in a positive manner.

Therefore, it was requested to Respected Dr. Shabbir, that we use the great platform of ourbeacon.com, to launch this unbiased, scientific and linguistic understanding of this greatest message of all time.

Two sticky links are being created on this site. One for open discussion using scientific tools, and other one to compose the translation which will continue to evolve with the help of all contributors: who are willing to spend time utilizing all the scientific tools, without getting stuck to the presumed meanings? It is hoped that this method will lead to a common understanding based on research and confirmations, a real means of acquiring knowledge and belief.

The decree: for all width and breath of land, on account of one who is not your illah. One rearing, fostering, nourishing and accomplishing all created beings, capable of acquiring knowledge.

ุงู„ุฑู‘ูŽุญู’ู…ูŽู†ู ุงู„ุฑู‘ูŽุญููŠู…ู

The ample and easy state of life, that mankind can not think by themselves, from your sustainer and maintainer. The greatest mercy: from him.

ู…ูŽุงู„ููƒู ูŠูŽูˆู’ู…ู ุงู„ุฏูู‘ูŠู†

This greatest mercy of his shall possess any era that shall have laws and principles of this Qurโ€™an as its ultimate constitution.

ุฅููŠู‘ูŽุงูƒูŽ ู†ูŽุนู’ุจูุฏู ูˆูŽุฅููŠู‘ูŽุงูƒูŽ ู†ูŽุณู’ุชูŽุนููŠู†ู

I direct myself to show ultimate and sole devotion to this constitution and in addition to directing myself, shall direct all created beings to this as it is prescribed for all.

ุงู‡ู’ุฏูู†ูŽุง ุงู„ุตูู‘ุฑูŽุงุทูŽ ุงู„ู’ู…ูุณู’ุชูŽู‚ููŠู…ูŽ

This will guide you to the way which is original and most straight, undeviating and unceasing.

Linguistic understanding of Al-Qurโ€™an

The true purpose of the broad message in Al Qurโ€™an, being the same message expressed within the original accounts of preceding scriptures, was to liberate humans from all oppressions, including mental oppression.

Our Creator communicates with us, and want us to be able to transform ourselves and those around us from state to state, through the following of those direct communication, presenting Allahโ€™s guiding principles, comprehensively detailed within the Qurโ€˜an.

However, throughout human history; people have ignored truth, suffering, exploitation, and actively want to create barriers between all human beings, for their own selfish advantage, so to this end, confusing the truths of the Creator, for the sake of their own power and status, to dominate those around them.

In early human history, the only form of communication, and so transfer of information, was through oral traditions. Speech can be understood as sound symbols representing the transfer of knowledge. However, the sound of spoken word dies as soon as they have been uttered. Hence, verbal communication is subject to alteration and can never be reliable.

Later on humans learned to preserve sound symbols on paper in the form script, so it became less likely that the scripted messages would alter. However, revision, corruptions and additions transformed scriptures over time, as the powerful use their influence and positions of trust.

This direct revision could not be employed against the Qurโ€™an, so a new route had to be established.

It is a natural phenomenon that all spoken language changes over time, so the people who want to continue their oppressive control can capitalize on this phenomenon. This may occur, deliberately or subtly, without most people realizing it.

This slow transformation happened to the original Qurโ€™anic Arabic language, the original spoken Quran, from the tongue of the Rasul into the established script technique of that time.

Natural changes in language, both intentional and unintentional, and rapid expansion of the message beyond the boundaries of Mekkah and Medina, in whose language the verbal messageโ€™s source scripture was preserved, made it difficult to conserve the exact meanings depicted in the script, and gradually the message was degraded, until finally lost again.

Luckily, the original script is preserved, and the rules and meanings of the script and writing techniques were well preserved by great Arabic scholars, and later translated by great linguists from Arabic to other languages. These Arabic books and translations have been greatly ignored, or more significantly, have been out of the reach of most common people.

Recent, with the explosion of communication tools in the form of electronic media and internet has put these books again in the hands of common people. These common people can potentially get back to the real message, by utilising these tools.

The original Qurโ€™anic Arabic can be studied as a scientific discipline, when the correct rules are applied to Quranic text, these principles bring forth an understanding, completely different from the conventional one. Like any other old script, one has to go back in time to understand the writing technique used at the time, so uncover the real message preserved by original scribes.

Following are only some of the reasons to look at the script in a scientific manner.

It is hard to believe that meanings rendered are completely error free, otherwise we would have had no discrepancy.

The language is corrupted/changed naturally or deliberately through rational phenomenon of language evolution, and so requires a comprehensive re-evaluation to uncover real meanings of the message. Self evidently, a collective effort would be better and more fruitful than an individual effort.

It is always helpful to keep an mind open to dissenters, this helps to avoid exchanging one corruption for just anotherโ€™s preconceived notions.

By diversifying the group one can use group wisdom, a very powerful tool.

Using an open internet model helps to keep individual anonymity, if they desire, but still contribute in a positive manner.

Could you please create another one with just the heading "Critique methodology Abdun Nur/Badar Kanwar". This is in order to keep two separate. We would continue to add translations to first one.
