AlQur'an makes clear that Allah SWT alone grants intercession and nobody else. The stories we have been told over the years that the messenger Muhammad (peace is upon all the Messengers) will intercede for his followers contradicts AlQur'an.

Let us give evidence from AlQur'an to provide proof that Muhammad cannot intercede for anyone and only Allâh SWT has that authority.

Surah Az-Zumar, Verse 44:

Say: "To Allah belongs exclusively (the right to grant) intercession: to Him (Allah) belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: in the end, it is to Him that ye shall be brought back."
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 51:

Give this warning to those in whose (hearts) is the fear that they will be brought (to judgment) before their Lord: except for Him (Allah) they will have no protector nor intercessor: that they may guard (against evil).
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 70:

Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah: if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

The above mentioned verses make it abundantly clear that Allah SWT alone has the power to intercede and nobody else. Not even Muhammad the Messenger Muhammad can intercede.
In the following verse Allah SWT challenges Muhammad that when a person who has been put into hell, can Muhammad take him out?
Read the answer in this verse.

Surah Az-Zumar, Verse 19:

Is, then, one against whom the decree of Punishment is justly due (equal to one who eschews Evil)? Wouldst thou (Muhammad), then, deliver one (who is) in the Fire?
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Now look at the following verse wherein Allah SWT commands Muhammad to declare that he doesn't know what will happen to himself and to anyone else.

Surah Al-Ahqaf, Verse 9:

Say: "I (Muhammad) am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I (Muhammad) know what will be done with me (Muhammad) or with you. I (Muhammad) follow but that which is revealed to me (Muhammad) by inspiration; I (Muhammad) am but a Warner open and clear."
(English - Yusuf Ali)

The above mentioned verses are crystal clear.
Only Allâh SWT has the power of intercession and nobody else and not even Muhammad.

So the question is, how will Allâh SWT " intercede"?.

The following verses inform us of how providing we follow only ALQUR'AN and no other book.

Surah Al-Anaam, Verse 160:

He that doeth good shall have ten times as much to his credit: he that doeth evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto (any of) them.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 70:

Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,
(English - Yusuf Ali)

There are many more verses stating the same message.
Only when one will STUDY ALQUR'AN then one will see how Allah SWT explained this.
Do not believe stories. The Truth is found only in AlQur'an.

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 60:

The Truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt.
(English - Yusuf Ali)

The sad thing is that the majority of Muslims don't want to Study AlQur'an to find out what Allah SWT says but follow blindly what they are told. They make no effort to find out if what they hear is the truth or not.
